ALTERED MEANS presents Erin Palovick & Shanequa Gay: where do we find grace?, the second exhibition ALTERED MEANS is organizing to honor Women’s History Month by in March 2018 at Collect.

Erin Palovick is an Atlanta-based artist whose work often changes form. Whether making marks on paper, sounds in space, or moments within a performance, Erin is considerate and inspired by the ineffable. The quality of Erin’s work balances between delicate and destructive, evoking subtle tensions in quiet moments. 

Shanequa Gay, an Atlanta native, has drawn praise and critical acclaim for her current art as advocacy projects that challenge the unyielding violence and injustices committed in America and across the globe against the black body.
